iphone photoJohn Seagrim – Founder Trustee and Chairman – John Seagrim has worked in the City for over twenty years.  He first came across St Stephen Walbrook in 1991, at one of the regular Friday lunchtime organ recitals that have been held in the church since the late 18th Century.  John became a friend of the then incumbent, Chad Varah, the founder of the Samaritans, and ten years later he was appointed the Treasurer and a Churchwarden, posts he still holds today.    It is his close connection with the church that led him to become a Founder Trustee of the Walbrook Music Trust.

Edward Adams – Founder Trustee and Musical Director – Edward Adams is a Senior Civil Servant who is a Founder Trustee and the Musical Director of ‘The Handel Collection’.  He has also been the Conductor of the Treasury Singers since 1991.  He has conducted orchestras and ensembles since his schooldays, and has presented premieres of works by Matthew Butt, Gordon Carr, Kurt Weill and Judith Bingham. He also plays the clarinet in the D’Cruz Piano Trio. 

Trevor Rowe – Trustee – Trevor Rowe is a consultant in public affairs and management in the United Kingdom and Australasia.  Prior to 2003, Trevor worked in the Australian Parliament where he was a senior manager and clerk to various high profile parliamentary committees.  Trevor has a long-standing interest in the visual arts, spending as much time as he can manage painting and enjoying music.  In his early life, Trevor studied the piano and for many years he accompanied various church congregations on the piano. 

Molly Adams – Trustee – Molly Adams studied singing with Marie Hayward-Segall and sings regularly with the Treasury Singers, the Chelsea Opera Group and Dorset Opera.  For the Walbrook Music Trust, she manages relations with the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and is the organiser of our Platform Concerts.

Matthew Butt – Trustee – Matthew Butt is a composer and programmer based in London.  He studied composition with Robert Saxton and Sinan Savaskan, and has a long-standing collaboration with Edward Adams, who has commissioned several choral works, including settings of John Donne and Guillaume Apollinaire for the Treasury Singers and the Concerto for Two Double Reeds for the Handel Collection.
